So Long 2015

It can be said that each year since Connie and I had started dating had been on a continuous upswing. 2010 was the year we met, 2011 was the year we got engaged, 2012 was the year we got Frank, 2013 was the year we got married and 2014 was the year we became parents. It was inevitable that we’d end up with a plateauing of the year’s events, but 2015 ended up being a sharp dip into stress, sadness and many other emotions. I can’t, won’t, and don’t want to go into the on here (some have been catalogued, others not) but it should be said that 2015 was a year of learning and growth that we are trying to take into 2016.

2016 will hopefully bring us a year of better news and better life events as we head into the unchartered waters of the second half of the second decade in the new century. We have stability in my job with a company that I like and have a load of goals that 2016 will bring that means I have some hard work to do.

Obviously, this time last year 2015 I wasn’t expecting to end up with me working for a different industry in England, but that’s how we rolled with the punches, and that is what we learned to do this year, above all else.

So Long 2015 – 2016, I’m ready for whatever you throw at me (I think).
