Towel Day

Today is international Towel Day, a day that commemorates the life and works of Douglas Adams, the writer of my favourite book (and book series) The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He passed away in 2001 and today everyone's supposed to know where their towel is - I know where mine is; it's wet, damp, probably needing clean and possibly thrown away, drying on my towel rack after a quick shower in a rush this morning. It's a trusty companion, and if you don't know how important a towel actually is, click here and here.

A hoopy frood always knows where his towel is.
